Matrescence was God's idea....

God has a very special place in his heart for Mamas

In many ways, we're his chosen people, the vessel through which he creates humankind. But He's not a distant God pointing down, instructing us from above.... He's in the nitty gritty with us.. 

In the highs of those two red lines, feeling those first flutters, then our babies being born and the sacred spaces of discovering their unique face for the first time, then hearing them chuckle.... 

He's also with us in the lows - of trying to conceive, deep pains of loss, traumatic births, intrusive thoughts, pelvic injuries, sleep deprivation, societal pressures and mama rage....

He's even there in the mundane moments - of nursing our babies while our tea goes cold, singing the same nursery rhyme for the 34th time, the back aches of carrying that ever-growing little person.

Becoming a mama, evolving, re-shaping, re-being.... God designed us this way, but he didn't mean for us to walk through this journey alone.

We are creating a village, a community of safety and hope... Here, in person or virtually, but also by connecting you to the One who created you who said I am with you 

In the coming months we'll be releasing our first-of-its-kind "Praying through your Matrescence" course, designed to give you the spiritual, practical, emotional and even physical tools to guide you through pregnancy, birth and the whirlwind of your postpartum life - through the power of meditating on ancient scriptures
